Review of Good (2008) by Craig S — 10 Apr 2009
Hollywood seems to have such a preoccupation with The Holocaust at the moment (not that the stories do not need to be told). This is a challenging film in that it answers how supposedly good people ended up becoming Nazi's - one step at a time.
One scene blew me away - a Jewish chamber orchestra made up of concentration camp detainees plays at the chaos of the camps horrors goes on around them - horror and art in the one moment. Well worth checking out on DVD for that scene alone.
