Bloated with 60's songs culled from the Sony and Universal Music catalogs, this recreation-happy tale of some aspects of Hunter S. Thompson has a few bright points, ranging from the joy of seeing Johnny Depp nail his voice perfectly and footage from his now-famous funeral.
Otherwise, the amount of footage from other documentaries on Hunter keeps begging the question: Why?
