Review of Gone with the Wind (1939) by Joan O — 06 Jul 2011
I remember the first Time I watched this. I thought it would be a old romantic movie with war scattered here and there, my mother hadnt really like it and so I assumed I wouldn't either. when I watched it- I couldnt keep my eyes off the screen-I thought I was probably the best thing I had seen in a long while.
When (SPOILER) Rhett Butler leaves In Uttering his Famous line 'Frankly, My Dear, I dont give a damn' and Scarlett O Hara Sits and cries, and as soon as the the credits rolled I Jumped up yelling "BOOM BITCH!'' Thinking Scarlett Had gotten what she deserved so I watched it again.
This Time, I came out with a new view. Vivien Leigh(Scarlett O'Hara) was most probably The Best Actress in the world. Out of Millions Of actress she won the role, SHE considered herself perfect of the role.
Which Was absolutely true! This movie fitted the David O'Selznick way ,Over dramatized.Which only made the movie better. recommended to Everyone. A Movie that should Never die.
