Review of Gone with the Wind (1939) by Neil S — 15 Oct 2011
A film with lush cinematography, excellent performances and interesting characters. Whilst Scarlett O'Hara is a powerful assertive character, she is also a spoilt brat, unconcerned about the harm she does to other people. Rhett Butler is straddles the line the between being moral and amoral, but carries it off with charm.
Overall the film takes a bit too long to end, but it's status as a classic is deserved.
