A master piece, specially around the era of the Civil war plus capturing the romance. Most war films with romance are actually unrealistic but this movie is amazing with great drama, romance, war, humor, actors, and just great acting.

Scarlett her character portrays that type of female who in a way is very naive and selfish. She wants everything for herself before thinking about others, you could say she is a b**** but with classiness and firmness. She might seem like that in a way but for her this is her weakness but one of her strengths as well. Everything she touches like the men she marries or anything precious in her life tends to die because of wanting things her way to gain her selfish needs. She doesn't change that much through out the whole movie, which is amazing because at the same time you know she starts to realize what she truly wanted wasn't really in her highest good.

What can be said about Rhett (Clark), such an amazing character with such vibrant, charm and charismatic in the film. You can't take your eyes of him, because he is that amazing. He is truly the essence of a real man in the film. A provider, loving father, lover, and a spouse. Sure, he has his drawbacks just like any character or person but his character is a real man. I seriously didn't know what Scarlett saw with Ashley maybe because she didn't get his heart and like he said he was more of a dreamer than being someone who was realistic. She obviously had such unrealistic set mind of how he truly was as a person. Melanie was perfect for Ashley, she saw good on everyone and even on Scarlett. Even Scarlett couldn't hate her because she was that of a good person. Each female had their own weakness and strength, they each some sort of dynamic going on when it came to their strengths&weaknesses.

While watching the movie, you already know the quotes are legend. You don't even have to know, you already know once its spoken and watching the scenes. Its that good, its an instant classic that is meant to be watch once or multiple times.
