Review of Gone with the Wind (1939) by Sarfaraz A — 31 Jan 2012
You, Sir are no gentleman!-.
Scarlett.
And You Ma'm are no, lady as well!-.
Rhett Butler.
(What a line by Clarke Gable).
Gone With The Wind director Victor Fleming's most-praised work, beautifully adapted into a film from a novel. Clarke Gable was brilliantly selected for the role of Rhett Butler, so was Vivien Leigh. Wonderful direction really, the art-direction a tough work to get of hold of. This film bears more praise for the story unfolding yet another story within. Masterpiece! Winner of major Oscar categories, which I believe it deserved.
