Review of Gone Girl (2014) by Kara F — 04 Jul 2015
This film definitely stays true to the books and it captures the eerie feeling most readers undoubtedly had. However, it seems to be extremely drawn out and had some moments that were hard to sit through due to what I call, movie restlessness.
It was either too long, or maybe it was my dislike of Ben Affleck as an actor that led me to wanting it to end. 3 stars for the superb performance by Rosamund Pike.
