Review of Gone Girl (2014) by Rob S — 10 Jul 2015
Not knowing anything about the book or movie, I figured out what was going on a half hour in. Still, the film kept me involved with some very good performances and wonderful, moody direction from David Fincher.
Then the last half hour turned into a dark comedy of sorts, reminiscent of "To Die For" with Nicole Kidman and parts "Sunset BLVD". Completely out of place, but consistent with one of the worst endings to a great premise I've ever witnessed!!!
