Review of Gone Girl (2014) by Andruw F — 08 May 2016
Until the last act, the movie was frequently almost reaching it's full potential, and you can tell. But everyone gives great performances, and the writing is great. But the ending is really dumb, and when the movie ends, you're left confused, and not in the good way.
But Fincher's directing, as always, makes everything better and would keep this movie fresh even if everything else I liked was bad.
