This is a gripping, very dark, well acted film. Set in Boston, the story is exceptionally well directed by Ben Affleck, in his directorial debut. Amy Ryan, Amy Madigan & Casey Affleck are the the strongest among a fantastic cast.
Casey Affleck is a private investigator hired along with his girlfriend/partner, to find an abducted child. Nothing really is as it seems. Plot twists & surprises around various turns of the film.
It's well written, well directed & well acted. It's a very dark film, but if you don't mind some darkness, watch this movie!
