I didn't hate this movie, but I also didn't understand what made it a 'suspenseful thriller' either. The plot is unique and the cast is good, but everything else falls flat. The ending is resolved too quickly to be satisfying and there is really not any twist or unexpected sequence in this movie.
Why isn't Detective Hood the killer? That would have been a nice - if predictable - conclusion.
