STOP making movies where the police is ignorant, or don't care. Always think the protagonist is wrong, crazy, and don't trust him/her, but he/she is of course 100% right and has to deal with enemy without police help. I am tired of these types of movies!
Instead, make the villian tougher even when the police got involved was not easy to defeat.
