Gone is predictable, boring, badly written, and decidedly uninspired. Boiled down, it amounts to essentially a bad made-for-tv movie. No real thrills are to be found, no real surprises are to be had, and the plot devices are either worn out or just silly.
The plot makes very little sense, though it does take itself very seriously. The acting ranged from bad to serviceable, with Amanda Seyfried actually coming out okay. Overall, it does appear to be a competent B thriller in spots, but ultimately succumbs to being dull and mostly stupid.
