Make me recall 2002's masterpiece City Of God. The 2 look really alike. Both successfully potrait a devil and hopeless city. And both are disturbing. In terms of storytelling, editing and cinemography, City Of God is far better than Gomorra.
However, in terms of honest and "look real", Gomorra wins.
