Review of Gomorrah (2008) by Gary N — 16 Sep 2009
For those who still look back with to the admittedly superb Godfather & its 1st sequel-this film rips up the rose tinted views of yester year and reveals the various criminal activities of the modern mafia.
It is superb-but forget seeing it if its action and gunfights you want. Although these elements are present, the main theme is showing the effects of the mafia on those in it, around it or hoping for a piece of it.
Well worth a look.
