Review of Gomorrah (2008) by Annelies S — 21 Jan 2010

Gomorra was a very serious drama but somehow it failed to impress or touch me. The main reason is probably because the different stories and fates alternated a bit too often so that it lead to one big chaos. At least for me it was very difficult to concentrate. It's a pity because it could have been a much better movie with less characters.

EDIT: Seen the movie today again in theatre and I'll change my rating from 3.5 to 4/5. I knew what to expect and my concentration was very high this time and it helped me see a connection between all the scenes. I was a bit more impressed and it moved me this time.
