Review of Gomorrah (2008) by Angelos K — 24 Nov 2010
Not at all the crime/mafia type of movie I was expecting. The pacing is languid while the characters and storylines way too convoluted. The stuff is pulled from fact, hence the nonfiction book it was based off of, but the translation to film doesn't tie things together well or communicate that real world terror, instead it's just vague and unclear.
It does pick up a little at the end, but by then it's too little, too late.
