Gopal (Ajay Devgan), who lives with his wife Ekta (Kareena Kapoor), sister Esha (Amrita Arora)and a dumb brother-in-law Lucky (Tusshar Kapoor), gets stuck in a yacht after saving an attractive woman Meera (Celina Jaitley) from some goons.

Both end up spending the night on the yacht and when he comes home the next day, his painfully suspicious wife who is also a hardcore fan of the "saas-bahu" serials, smell fish. Gopal knows it's going to be hard to quell her suspicion so he concocts a cock-and-bull story about having stayed the night with a fictitious friend called Anthony Gonsalves.

Ekta refuses to buy his yarn and writes to Anthony (on a fictitious address given to her by Gopal) asking him to visit her.Gopal convinces his junior at work, Laxman (Shreyas Talpade) to pretend to be Anthony.

Everything goes according to plan till the address to which Ekta had written to Anthony turns out to be real! If that isn't complication enough for Gopal, a dead body is discovered at the location where he had saved Meera.

The Investigating Officer, Madhav (Arshad Warsi), who is Esha's boyfriend and also who cannot stand the sight of Gopal, learns that the latter had been missing from home that eventful night and begins checking on him.

Okay, all of remember the funny "Golmaal", the prequel of the movie. But sadly, there's nothing at all to remember in the sequel of "Golmaal". The movie creates a pretty bad impact on it's viewers.

Despite of some funny moments of the movie, the movie looses it's momentum very often. There are loads of irritating, slapstick moments which tries to make the viewers laugh but ends up disappointing.

The direction is pretty poor. Not a good one this time Rohit, unexpected. Ajay was okay, fine in some of the scenes. Tushar was fine, but irritating at times. Arshad was okay & the rest were fine.

So what are the missing elements this time from it's prequel? There is no Sharman Joshi, which is a huge let down for the movie. Poor music, prequel had far better music. The direction, it's pretty poor this time.

Yes, there are some funny moments, specially the spoof on some disasters of Bollywood like Tashan & Saawariya is quite funny, but the cheap comic moments in the movie makes the movie dull, especially the climax.

It's better to term the climax of the movie as "Frustrating, irritating & very boring". Poor show this time by Shetty. It's getting too much with the same contents Mr. Shetty, better change your way of making movies now.
