Review of Goldfinger (1964) by Scott M — 04 Jan 2013
I will state from the outset that I am not a fanatical viewer of the James Bond films.
I can take the things I found myself cringing at, such as the misogyny, killings, and promiscuous sex, as being representative of the character of James Bond, as Ian Fleming conceived him.
As an action film, Goldfinger works quite well, if one is prepared to ignore that some plot elements seem far fetched.
