I'm lying if I say this isn't one of my favorite movies ever. It's certainly one of the films that made me want to make movies. There is something about James Bond and his movies that just attracts me.
The action, the drama, the women, the character, it has a lot for what is arguably a popcorn film, and Goldfinger may be the best one ever. This is the movie that turned 007 into the 23 film franchise it is today.
The story is interesting and full of interesting and colorful characters. Goldfinger is probably the finest 007 film still to date. He has the fantastic henchman and his hat. Of course the infamous Pussy Galore makes her appearance as well.
Sean Connery is James Bond. Period. And this is his Stair Way To Heaven. It's his finest film and best performance as James Bond. This is the movie no doubt that made me want to make movies. It is the perfect adventure film.
It transports you out of your world for about 2 hours and takes you into the magical, mysterious, adventurous world of 007. In my opinion, it may be as good a movie as has ever been made. I love everything about it.
