Review of Goldfinger (1964) by Philip L — 03 Oct 2012
The third film in the James Bond movie series, the 007 British intelligence, and one of the best (and the cash - the budget was exceeded in the world hire almost 42 times!) In a loop, popular for forty-five years. In this film, Bond enters the fray with a clever Godfingerom that is going to make a bomb in Fort Knox - the treasury of the United States, where all the gold reserves in order to wreak havoc in the economy, and to become a master of the world. And in the early tapes of the 007 successfully combines intense development of the action (the final scene, when Bond stops the counter explosive device numbers 007, can be considered a classic - then this trick with minimal modifications used a million times in different movies in all parts of the world), a witty dialogue and a touch of irony to the authors portray.
It is difficult to understand why such "non-serious" picture perceived in the USSR too seriously and even hostile, considering reactionary bourgeois or even biased anti-Soviet. But after all the style of James Bond tape is like a comic, that is, speaking in Russian, with a book with amusing pictures. We should also mention the great game of Sean Connery, the first performer of the role of the famous British agent - his James Bond, of course, is inimitable and unique. And the music of John Barry (especially the treated main theme Monty Norman, which has long been called simply "James Bond") became the hallmark of the movie series, or "James Bond". Interestingly, in a similar definition of the newly formed loop unwittingly emphasizes just the mythology of its main character, who in the modern world as it took the place of archetypal characters in "The Iliad" and "Odyssey.".
