Review of GoldenEye (1995) by Alison C — 17 Oct 2014

Oh gosh, these Bond movies! I do not get it. They are not good! Ug. Well, I do think Brosnan makes a great Bond and he's probably the most handsome, in my opinion. I appreciate (I didn't say like!) his sense of humor toward being Bond.

This movie does a lot of sort of meta things. Not sure if that's clever or not. The music is SO BAD! and often completely inappropriate. Why is there extremely romantic swelling strings playing during a card game that is not romantic at all? The crap? That tank chase IS pretty awesome.

I will say that. It's certainly better than Living Daylights. I think I've had enough of these older classic Bond movies, though. I have no interest in seeing anymore and hope I never do because it would be a waste of time.
