Review of GoldenEye (1995) by Rowan C — 17 Nov 2010
After a long time of waiting for a new MODERN Bond to come back we see ourselves watching Pierce Brosnan. Fans thought maybe the franchise was dead. But as long as every film has "James Bond Will Return" at the end then it is fine.
Great script, action, acting, music--- just everything.
Only downside is some naff effects. In the 90s there were better special effects, but who cares when the film is good?
WAV music is a bit of a downfall. Theme song is brilliant.
Alec is a great villain. Best friend turned enemy.
