Review of Goldeneye (1989) by Adeoluwa D — 05 Nov 2018
A renewed approach to James Bond that coincided with the period at that time.
Haven played the video game first on the Nintendo 64 before watching the movie, it made me appreciate both media of the same title more.
This was a long wait follow-up after License to Kill. It had everything from humour to action to hi-tech displays to the signature bond. And for me, Pierce Brosnan's entry as Bond fitted the Ian Fleming-description or perhaps my perceived view of how Bond should look.
This was a classic for me...it gets 5-stars.
P.S - Judy Dench delivered excellently on the "M" role as expected.
Quote from Bond on killing Xenia Onantopp - " She always did enjoy a good squeeze" lol.
