Review of Goldeneye (1989) by Niamh E — 07 Jan 2011
In Brosnan's first (and only good) film playing Bond, the plot revolves around Russia, EMPs, Famke Janssen squeezing men to death with her legs, and Sean Bean as one of the most memorable villains in the series' great history.
The music is very dated at this point and even sounded so in 1995 but this was Bond's best adventure since the late 70s and helped keep the franchise above water until the reboot with Daniel Craig.
"No more foreplay".
