Review of Gold Rush Daze (1939) by Matt M — 22 Mar 2013
An early Merrie Melody short animation about dogs with a serious case of the gold rush. In reality, the narrative aspect isn't very rewarding, and the film ends up lacking a satisfactory structure, as well as memorable characters.
However, its up-beat pace is interesting and it's amusing at the very least, not counting its novelty appeal.
