Review of Gold (2016) by Andrew C — 31 Jan 2017
For the first hour and a half it's incredibly entertaining with a good sense of humor, efficient pace and good development of its two leads and their buddy comedy schtick, but a third act twist makes it fall completely apart and undermines everything it succeeds at before it.
The acting is great and there are some unique ways it tells its story, but near the end it drags and just loses the sense of fun it had early on.
