Stephen Gaghan's 'Gold' (2016) boasts a great cast, but it's beyond boring. Matthew McConaughey plays a lead that has character motivations so vague, I constantly questioned why he doing the things he was doing.
I saw this film a week ago, and I can't remember a single thing about it. I suppose the acting was good in 'Gold', though the film surrounding these performances is somewhat of a shallow and vapid husk.
