Review of Going to Pieces: The Rise and Fall of the Slasher Film (2006) by Kristian D — 27 Dec 2007
Wonderful. This documentary doesn't just cover main stream slasher films but goes into some of the oddballs like Pieces, The House on Sorority Row, He knows your alone, even Happy Birthday to me. The interviews give great incite on the rise and fall of these films.
The only thing I don't understand is how come the first Texas Chainsaw Massacre was not even mentioned. Not that it really hurts the film at all.
