Review of Going to Pieces: The Rise and Fall of the Slasher Film (2006) by Ian M — 31 Aug 2008
This is a brilliant documentary movie all about horror movies, and the history of the slasher genre. Great insight from the greats like John Carpenter, and Wes Craven. And really interesting to find out about budgets, what killed the genre, and what resurrected it.
Real shame that Texas Chainsaw Massacre wasn't given a nod to, but great stuff...
