Review of Going in Style (2017) by Tom T — 23 Sep 2017
So... two stars, but it isn't bad. Yes, that isn't a rousing endorsement, but you won't feel ticked off that you rented it. Predictable? Check. Formula, decent acting, sentimental performances, goofy gags? Quadruple check. You won't rave about it later, but any film with Caine and Freeman in it is usually watchable.
Even Alan Arkin, who I don't usually enjoy because he's just plays himself, is fun to watch in this light and breezy film.
