Review of Godzilla vs. Mothra (1992) by Erwin J — 28 May 2008

Back in the day when there were no special effects. This is what you get a classic big monster (although sometimes confusing) movie. I say confusing because in some scenes Godzilla isn't really that big incomparison to other buildings but in other scenes his foot is almost height level with a car? Maybe I'm just too technical about it.

The story was confusing. So the first mothra was trying to kill the other mothra and then godzilla saved that mothra and then the mothra that was being attacked was now saving the mothra that was attacking him.

I'm thinking it's implied that since they're the same creature, they fight for the same thing. I'll go with that and what the hell was with the twins? That freaked me out, they're like fairies living in a mailbox and it was so funny because the actors were trying to keep their voices in sync with the other so occasionally one would speak in a higher tone with the other.

It's a 3 because for it's time, it would've been the bomb back then. Apparently the world would end in 1999 according to the twins. They were wrong???
