To get it out of the way, the monster fight scenes are astounding in this film, the CGI is some the of the best I've ever seen, the soundtrack is badass. And that's it. Everything else kind of sucks.
The acting is mediocre at best, the characters are boring, there is no reason for Millie Bobbie Brown to be here. The writing is laughably bad.
