Review of Godzilla vs. Biollante (1989) by Markus K — 17 Mar 2009
Nice follow-up for Godzilla 1985. Effects work better, and figts are nice looking spectacles. And I think that Biollante is good opponent for Big-G, but least I felt that he/she/it/Biollante was really underused.
Godzilla comes in, defeats it, then B shows up at the end of the movie (literally dropping from the sky) and they fight again for short time. And whole, daughters-spirit-inhabiting-Biollante -storyline was also underused.
But still, fun monster film.
