Godzilla: King of the Monsters is the first film in Legendary's MonsterVerse that feels like a Toho film. Much like last year's Aquaman, King of the Monsters knows what kind of movie it is and doesn't make any apologies for it.
It has cheesy dialogue, it has a ridiculous plot and more importantly it is fun as hell.
