Review of Godzilla: King of the Monsters (2019) by Theraven21 — 05 Jun 2019

Well, well, well. What have we here? We have confusing motivations, hammy dialogue, and an underdeveloped script, but something about it combined with the stunning visuals just completely sell this movie for me; ending up being kind of charming because of that balance between terrible and outstanding.

The action was just everything I could ask for! The fights of the titans were just incredible. Their designs were very nice, one of the monsters is basically a Hydra (where's Hercules when you need him?).

Godzilla is just amazing in this movie. I just had a blast, almost enough to ignore everything else.
