Review of Godzilla: King of the Monsters (2019) by Greenstar — 30 May 2019
I really wanted to like this movie after the better 2014 one and the musical trailers presented. But other than the 40 minutes or so of the spectacle of the monsters fighting, the character story backdrop was very cliched, tired and dumb.
Child saving missions and mechanical failures that require single-handed bravado do not novel story-telling make.
