Review of Godzilla: King of the Monsters (2019) by Ginak — 02 Jun 2019
I have enjoyed Godzilla films for as long as I can remember, and I definitely was pleased with this one. The plot was okay – I could have done without the “climate change” talk – we don’t need Godzilla getting ensnared in current events.
He is timeless. But the cast was very good as usual and the plot, although a little muddled, moved along. I also thought Godzilla himself looked and sounded more convincingly alive than in previous films in the series, and the cast had some very talented actors (for example, Charles Dance, Sally Hawkins, and Ken Watanabe), which helped.
A lot of fun and nicely done.
