Review of Godzilla: King of the Monsters (2019) by Thescoundrel — 30 May 2019

As a lifelong Godzilla fan, this was everything I've ever wanted from a big-budget film. After years of imagining how I'd do things differently than those who've gotten their inept hands on the franchise (post 1995), it's well satisfying to see someone get the Godzilla monsterverse RIGHT.

It's as close to the movie that's lived in my head for the years I've wasted playing in bands & partying (instead of moving to L.A. & working hard to become a feature-length director myself) as I could pragmatically hope for.
