Although this is the American dubbed version of the Japanese original, there are enough significant changes to warrant its own entry. Excising nearly 30 minutes of footage and replacing them with clumsy inserts of Raymond Burr as an American journalist.
This totally caters to the American B movie market and distances itself from the atrocities while alleviating all references to American blame. Surprise surprise.
