Review of Godzilla, King of the Monsters! (1956) by Brendan O — 05 Nov 2008

This is just an Americanized version of the original "Gojira." It's an interesting idea what they did. They put in a parallel story following an American who made his way to Tokyo while the attacks were happening, but sometimes he seems too forcibly spliced into the original story.

And somehow the old characters learned English too! All in all, not a bad attempt, but really pointless if you've seen the Japanese classic.
