Review of Godzilla, King of the Monsters! (1956) by Brian F — 07 Oct 2013

Though not the first "giant monster raised because of nuclear explosions" movie (that honor goes to The Beast from 20,000 Fathoms), this is the one that really started the trend. This is the re-edited version of the original Japanese (1954) one.

Raymond Burr was inserted pretty effectively throughout the movie. Maybe I am a dumb American, but I like this style better than more downer one in the original edit.
