Review of Godzilla Against MechaGodzilla (2002) by David Z — 11 Oct 2010
Every time Godzilla shows up it is out of plot convenience in this lackluster entry into the Godzilla franchise. I can't even recommend this movie for its kaiju action, as the battles are as disjointed as the plot.
While the Mechagodzilla design is much improved over the 90's version, the storytelling make all previous Mechagodzilla origins look like masterpieces of fiction.
