Review of Godzilla (2014) by Steve F — 04 Jul 2016

After sixty years, Godzilla still holds audiences around the world captivated. Wisely deciding not to just do another Godzilla versus the military they added some other original monsters in it for Godzilla to rumble with. The film also has some truly beautiful images such as; the first reveal of Godzilla, the troopers falling into the city and seeing the monsters fighting through the smoke, and that final fire blast into one of the creature's mouth.

Some people may have been upset over it not being exactly what they wanted, whatever that maybe. However, Godzilla was a return to the classic feel of the giant monster movie, and that's all right with me.
