Review of Godzilla (2014) by Baegg — 15 May 2014
This movie is deeply human and visually gorgeous, but I don't think it will fulfill the expectations of audiences used to lots of action and none of the leave-it-to-the-imagination-suspense built on a slow pace in here.
Every time Godzilla appears it makes your eyes jump out of your face and that only happens because it's image wasn't banalized and the levels of tension were very well controlled. It is worth your money and I seriously believe that, if this movie gets misunderstood now, maybe in ten years it will begin to appear on top10 or top5 best commercial movies of the 2010's.
