Flat clichéd characters. Boring acting. Godzilla appears in the movie for less than 10 minutes. Were the fight scenes good ? Yeah that one fight scene that lasted 3 minutes was good. Godzilla was a creature that apparently existed for a thousand years ? And no one ever discovered it until the last century ? Instead of having a clever nuclear sub plot where a lizard is mutated, which was made to symbolize the Nagasaki and Hiroshima bombings, but no.

The ending was just stupid, basically Godzilla just apparently is cheered for saving the city, even though he destroyed it as well *cough Man of Steel cough*.
