Review of Godzilla (2014) by Troa — 08 Jun 2014
Godzilla sold itself on Godzilla, not the slim Americanized version from the last US Godzilla movie, but a much closer to true version, roaming. All in all, there was an okay amount of action involving Godzilla.
There was a lot more action not involving him, however. While the focus could have been Godzilla, it felt much more to be on a single soldier who happened to find himself in bad situations over and over, and still somehow live.
Simply put, there was not enough lizard, and too much talking.
