Review of Godzilla (2014) by Sanyrub — 25 Jan 2015
Great version. It gives everything this type of film can give. The special effects are pretty moving and the first couple of times Godzilla appears on screen are hair raising. The complaints about not having enough Godzilla are not valid, usually the less you see the monster the more intrigued and kind of scared you are.
Not only that but the whole final act shows a lot of Godzilla (in fact, the less interesting part to me). However, a movie like this can not offer character development or a great plot, it´s not its nature, so I cannot give it more than a 6 out of 100.
Still, the performances are ok for this type of blockbuster.
