With 'pacific rim' in the not so distant past and a hudgely (wider audience) successful 'mathew broderick' version from the nineties I thought meh to recent rave reviews but got a pleasant experience from this ancient tale woe rebirth this decade (i only wish we could do jaws 1 same justice).

had all from CGI to apocalyptic genre, moving family man picture and dedicated career person to the fairy tale it came from. a union of science and art rather than fiction. good film/recommend.
