Review of Godzilla (2014) by Michael V — 27 Jul 2015
Good God, Zilla, lol. This, was just, my god. There was absolutely no character development and no interest in any of them. The only character you care anything about is, well, Godzilla (ALL 15 MINUTES HE'S ON SCREEN), ya, minor spoiler, but I don't care.
2 hours and 10 minutes of movie and the character that the movie is named after is only there for 3 sips of your drink and 5 kernels of popcorn, WTF? Some of the fight scenes he has with Mothra's twin siblings (lol again) are pretty good, but if you can believe this, they cut away in the middle of the fight to go back to the boring human characters, who cares about them, I wanna see the monsters.
Not worth time, money, anything else. SKIP IT.
